Granby Ambulance Association is the emergency medical services provider for East Granby, East Hartland and Granby. Our mission is to meet the emergency medical care and transportation needs of the residents and visitors to the communities in our service area. We provide Paramedic Advanced Life Support care and transportation to the sick and injured 24 hours a day.

Our ambulances are staffed by committed volunteer and paid personnel. Our personnel include Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and Paramedics.

We are a non-profit corporation, funded primarily by community donations and reimbursement for patient transportation. We also provide public health and safety training for our members and the community.  Our courses include CPR, First Aid and EMT initial training and recertification.

Emergency Preparedness
Granby Ambulance has File of Life magnetic medical information cards for all local residents. The File of Life is designed to help EMS personnel quickly obtain your necessary medical history, medications and emergency contact information. It could help save your life.

When you finish filling out the card, fold it and place it back into the “FILE OF LIFE” plastic pocket and then place the whole thing on the outside of your refrigerator.  Simple as that!

Please call us at (860)653–6535.  We would be happy to mail you one or even drop one off for you.
